OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police say they are planning to crackdown on speeders along the Lake Hefner Parkway.

Officers say drivers tend to go way too fast along the parkway, referring to it as the “Hefner Raceway.”

In an effort to crack down on reckless driving, police say they will be stepping up their traffic enforcement along the parkway.

Authorities say they will also be looking for drivers who follow too closely, make improper lane changes and other reckless driving habits.
