OKLAHOMA CITY – A high-speed chase through Warr Acres sent three people to the hospital.

Authorities say it was around 2 a.m. when police tried to pull over a stolen car.

Instead, the driver took off and led officers on a high-speed chase.

Officials say speeds reached over 100 miles per hour before the car crashed into a tree near N.W. 63rd St. and Lyrewood.

All three people inside the vehicle were injured and taken to the hospital.

“At least one was most likely in serious condition, the other two were talking to us when they were transported,” said Lt. Matt Berger, with the Warr Acres Police Department.

Investigators say the driver and passengers were not wearing seat belts.
