Oklahoma City man leaves cellphone behind at restaurant, manager allegedly discovers child porn

OKLAHOMA CITY – Charges have been filed against an Oklahoma City man who reportedly had child pornography on his cellphone.

On Aug. 27th, Matthew Plumley, 28, reportedly left his phone behind at BJ’s Brewhouse, located in the 2400 block of W. Memorial Rd.

When the manager looked through the phone to find the guest’s contact information, he allegedly found pornographic photos of children, the probable cause affidavit states.

The manager immediately called police.

As officers were talking with the manager about what he found, Plumley showed up at the restaurant to retrieve his phone.

When officers questioned him about the photos, Plumley allegedly admitted to downloading child pornography onto his phone.

Plumley was arrested and booked into jail for possession of child pornography.

Charges were officially filed against the man Oct. 14.
