Police investigating after body found inside car at OU

NORMAN, Okla. - Police are investigating after a body was found inside a car at the University of Oklahoma.

According to the OU Daily, a body was found inside a car in the Dale Hall parking lot Friday morning.

OU sent an e-mail to students, saying OUPD has identified the deceased man.

Authorities say the man is 51-years-old and from Lawton.

School officials said they are not aware of any connection between the man and the school.

A dog was also found inside the car unharmed, the OU Daily reports.

The medical examiner has since removed the body.

No other information is available at this time.
