Owasso police arrest family allegedly trying to steal from Target

OWASSO, Okla. – Several family members were arrested after allegedly being caught stealing from an Owasso store.

Police told FOX 23 that Christine Sawyer, Christopher Henson, Josh Sawyer, Kimberly Sawyer, Tiffany Cartwright and Crystal Henson tried to steal a cart full of items from the Target.

When officers arrived, they allegedly spotted Christopher Henson and Josh Sawyer loading merchandise from a cart into an SUV.

Authorities say Henson’s daughter was also in the SUV at the time of their arrests.

Christine Sawyer was arrested on a complaint of obtaining food stamps by fraud, while Kimberly Sawyer was arrested on complaints of driving under suspension and larceny.

Josh Sawyer was arrested on complaints of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, grand larceny and interfering with a police officer.

Christopher Henson was arrested on complaints of grand larceny, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and operating a motor vehicle with an improper tag.

Tiffany Cartwright was arrested on complaints of grand larceny and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
