KVOO Radio Host Sunny Leigh Became One Of Those Women

TULSA, Okla. – An Oklahoma radio personality says she believes she was ‘catfished’ in an online relationship.

For the past year, Sunny Leigh says she has been in an online relationship with a man she met on Facebook.

“He said his wife had passed away from breast cancer and he was raising three small children by himself and just seemed really sweet and real,” she told KJRH.

The man who went by the name Nathan Miller eventually left her a message, but would never talk on the phone.

Leigh says she analyzed the recording at the radio station and believe it could have been a woman.

She soon learned that the person behind the scheme stole some of her photos and posted them to dating websites, claiming that Leigh was his ex and that she had kidnapped his child.

Leigh soon learned she wasn’t the only one and that dozens of women were scammed by the same profile.

Now, a Facebook group has been created in hopes of finding the person behind the account.
