Semi-truck driver killed in rollover crash on I-35

MCCLAIN COUNTY, Okla. – A semi-truck driver was killed Thursday morning when his truck rolled over and caught fire.

Around 5:15 a.m., officials reported a semi-truck was involved in an accident in the northbound lanes of I-35 near Ladd Rd. in McClain County.

Officials say the semi-truck rolled over and caught fire.

The fire quickly spread to the grass, but firefighters were able to put the fire out before it got out of control.

The driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene.

Traffic in the area is backed up while crews work to clear the scene.
