Oklahoma agency planning to serve 1,000 meals this Thanksgiving

OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City nonprofit agency is working to serve hundreds of families this holiday season, and is asking for a bit of help.

Other Options, Inc. is planning to serve 750 Thanksgiving meals to families affected by HIV/AIDS and 250 meals to homeless and food-insecure families in Oklahoma City.

The meals are expected to cost about $6.67 per person, which totals to about $7,000.

Monetary donations can be made on the Other Options website or you can donate turkeys and hams to the following locations:

  • Sunnyside Diner, 916 NW 6th St., OKC
  • The Sushi Bar, 6432 W Memorial Rd., OKC
  • Other Options 3636 NW 51st St., OKC.
