Gunman allegedly responsible for double shooting in S.W. Oklahoma City arrested

Two people injured in shooting in the 1500 block of S.W. 35th.

OKLAHOMA CITY – The gunman allegedly responsible for a double shooting in southwest Oklahoma City is behind bars.

Around 8 p.m. Sunday, police were called to reports of a shooting in the 1500 block of S.W. 35th.

Police said three men were arguing outside of a home when a fight started.

One of the men, later identified as 26-year-old Jose Martinez, pulled out a gun and shot the other two men, a police report states.

Officials say the two victims were rushed to the hospital in serious condition.

Police say both men were shot in the face.

Martinez was arrested a short time later.

Right now, he is facing charges for assault with a deadly weapon.
