Police identify Oklahoma City man shot to death in his backyard

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police have identified an Oklahoma City man who was shot to death in his backyard last week.

Around 10:26 p.m. on Nov. 23, Richard Nelson Jr. was in his backyard in the 6600 block of S. Kelley when he became involved in an altercation with another person.

During the altercation, police say Nelson was shot multiple times.

He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

At this time, no arrests have been made.
