A year and a half after being let go from the Oklahoma City Thunder, former head coach of seven years, Scott Brooks, made his return to the Peake as head coach of the Washington Wizards.

Brooks was greeted by his old fan base with a standing ovation to start the game.

After being down by as many as sixteen points, the Wizards fought back and led the Thunder by three with less than ten seconds in the game.

Then Russell Westbrook drilled a three to tie the game at 105 and send it to overtime.

In overtime, Oklahoma City pulled away to win 126-105.

With an assist to Victor Oladipo on a fastbreak in the fourth quarter, Russell Westbrook notched his fourth triple double in as many games, and his ninth of the season with 35 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists.

Victor Oladipo had a solid shooting night adding 25 points, going 5-9 from beyond the arc.

Next up, the Thunder welcome in Buddy Hield, Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday with tipoff set for 5:30 PM.
