OKLAHOMA CITY – It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas around Oklahoma City.

On Tuesday evening, state leaders were standing by at the Oklahoma State Capitol for the official Capitol Tree Lighting Ceremony.

They were joined by the Yeary family and their adopted sons, Will and JJ.

The Capitol Christmas tree is a Douglas Fir replica that is decorated with more than 2,500 energy-saving LED lights.

The lighting ceremony capped off a festive event where hundreds of students helped decorate more than two dozen small Christmas trees placed around the Capitol.
