Oklahoma man arrested after allegedly choking, robbing 62-year-old neighbor

TULSA, Okla. – An Oklahoma man is behind bars after allegedly choking his 62-year-old neighbor.

According to FOX 23, officers were called to a home near 31st St. North and N. Iroquois Ave. on Monday afternoon.

The victim says he was getting groceries from his car when David Reed came up behind him and began choking him.

The victim told FOX 23 that he tried to fight back, but was much weaker than Reed.

After allegedly taking the victim’s wallet, Reed reportedly ran back to his home and barricaded himself in the attic.

He was eventually arrested.
