AP All-Big 12 Football Honors Announced

The Associated Press released its All-Big 12 honors on Tuesday, and there are plenty of OU and OSU players represented.

Oklahoma’s Bob Stoops is the Big 12 Coach of the Year, while Sooner wide receiver Dede Westbrook is the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, and OSU running back Justice Hill is the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year.

Westbrook received nine votes for player of the year, while OU quarterback Baker Mayfield had seven votes.

Oklahoma had seven first team selections, with five on offense and two on defense.

Oklahoma State had three first team selections, with one on offense and two on defense.
