OKLAHOMA CITY – Donating blood may not only save a life but could also help you win a vacation.

The Oklahoma Blood Institute and the Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City are teaming up for a blood drive on Saturday, Dec. 17 to help patients in local hospitals.

Donors who are 16-years-old or older may donate blood between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at The Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City, located at 7624 W. Reno Ave., or any metro donor center.

When you donate, you will also be entered for a chance to win a seven-night Caribbean cruise for two from Fundraisingtrips.org and Norwegian Cruise Line.

Even if you don’t win the cruise, each donor will get a free long-sleeved t-shirt.

Organizers say it typically takes about an hour to give blood.
