OKLAHOMA CITY – It is the season of giving, but that can be tough with so many charities and nonprofit agencies in the mix.

However, one organization says monetary donations are down compared to past years and they are worried about feeding some of Oklahoma’s hungry.

The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma says that donations are down, but there are other ways you can also help the organization.

If you decide to donate money, every gift received through Jan. 15 will be matched up to $60,000.

But there are other things that you can do that will still make a difference. If you shop at AmazonSmile, Amazon will donate .5 percent of the purchase price to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.

Also, Perk Place Cafe, located at 1649 W 33rd St. in Edmond, will donate 25 cents from every transaction to the organization’s Food for Kids program.

If you are feeling festive, head to Lyric Theatre’s A Christmas Carol, which will also be collecting donations.

Also, visitors to the Downs Family Christmas, located at 2900 72nd Ave. S.E. in Norman, will have the chance to donate to the Regional Food Bank.

Finally, cheer on the Oklahoma City Thunder because Enes Kanter has announced that he will donate 10 meals for every rebound and basket he makes during December home games.
