OKLAHOMA CITY – Police have identified the two people killed in the apparent murder-suicide in southwest Oklahoma City.

Around 9:15 a.m. on Dec. 7, emergency crews were called to a shooting near S.W. 119th and Western Ave.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the bodies of two people outside of a doughnut shop.

Police say Zachary Charles Blake, 35, shot Desirae Parnell, 30, before turning the gun on himself.

The two were previously in a dating relationship, police said in a news release.

Coworkers at the Access Medical Center clinic told NewsChannel 4 the woman was a mother of two who managed two area urgent care facilities - one in Norman and one in the plaza in which she ultimately died.

The medical center's senior vice president said the woman was "just a delight" who was "absolutely beloved by her coworkers."

Blake's motive is unknown at this time, police said.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the shooting to call the homicide tip-line at (405)297-1200.
