COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Police in Colorado say one Family Dollar assistant manager learned the hard way that crime doesn’t pay.

Officers were called to the business just after it closed when thieves targeted the store. Employees were bound with duct tape while a familiar face took money from the cash register, according to KOAA.

In fact, police didn’t have to wait long before finding 30-year-old Martellius Bryant. Investigators say Bryant, the store’s assistant manager, was actually one of the alleged thieves.

When authorities searched Bryant’s apartment, they found 21-year-old Alejandro Pablo. Both of the men were arrested on charges of felony robbery.
