Two children were treated for minor burns after a house fire in Edmond

EDMOND, Okla. – At least two children were injured in a house fire in Edmond Thursday morning.

Around 7:15 a.m., firefighters were called to reports of house fire in the 400 block of Belmont, near E. 2nd and Coltrane.

Initial reports indicate there are at least two young victims who are being treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation.

The two victims are being transported to a local hospital.

At this time, it is unclear how the fire started.
