OKLAHOMA CITY - He may be a five-time NBA All Star and point guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder, but Russell Westbrook wasn't on the court this afternoon.

Instead, he was hosting a holiday party for homeless children in Oklahoma City at the City Rescue Mission.

The event was hosted by Russell Westbrook and his 'Why Not Foundation.'

Organizers say the kids were able to make crafts, decorate cookies and take part in other fun Christmas activities.

The mission of Westbrook's 'Why Not Foundation' is to inspire the lives of children, empower them to ask 'Why not?' and to teach them to never give up.
