Man dies after being hit by truck on Oklahoma turnpike
VERDIGRIS, Okla. – One man is dead following this weekend’s winter precipitation.
Authorities say 55-year-old Curtis Lee Cockrell died in Rogers County when he was hit by a truck on the Will Rogers Turnpike.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Cockrell and a snow plow had collided, and Cockrell was standing outside his vehicle when he was hit by the-truck.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
