Officials give “all clear” after suspicious device found in southwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Bomb Squad responded to a suspicious device found in southwest Oklahoma City afternoon.

Officials were near the scene of S.W. 89th and Penn.

The device was allegedly found in an unoccupied home.

Officials say the scene is now cleared and bomb squad technicians will dispose of the device, which may be an old hand grenade.

No arrests were made.

There is also no evidence of foul play.
