Emergency crews respond after propane truck catches fire on I-40 near El Reno
EL RENO, Okla. – Emergency crews are responding after a propane truck has caught fire Monday afternoon on I-40 west of El Reno.
The Daughety Brothers Propane truck was reportedly rear-ended by another vehicle and can now be seen engulfed in flames.
Multiple small grass fires have also sparked as a result, however crews have been able to keep them under control for the most part.
Lanes of I-40 around the exit for the town of Calumet are now shut down as crews wait for the truck to completely burn out of fuel.
There’s no word on any injuries at this time.
