Meth, marijuana, money found inside Oklahoma man’s car during traffic stop

CHICKASHA, Okla. – Two people were arrested after meth, marijuana and a large amount of money was found inside an Oklahoma man’s car during a traffic stop.

Around 10:24 p.m. on December 6th, James Dale Scott, 54, of Ninnekah, was pulled over in Chickasha for suspicion of driving under the influence.

The officer reported that the truck was driving erratically, at one point Scott allegedly struck a curb and went off road into a gravel parking lot.

When the officer made contact with Scott, he noted that the man seemed to be impaired by some substance.

A K-9 officer was called to the scene and alerted that there was something inside the vehicle.

After searching the vehicle, officers found approximately 118 grams of methamphetamine, 62 grams of marijuana and $8,125 in cash.

118g of methamphetamine, 62g of marijuana, and $8,125.00 in small US bills were located inside the vehicle.

Scott and his passenger, identified as 25-year-old Brittiny Dawn Alexander, were arrested and booked into jail.

Scott is facing charges of failure to maintain lane of travel, improper right turn, driving under the influence of an intoxicant, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute within 2000 feet of a school.

Alexander is facing charges of trafficking methamphetamine and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute within 2000 feet of a school.
