    Tragic accident leaves two Oklahomans dead

    COAL COUNTY, Okla. – Two Oklahomans are dead after a tragic accident. The Coalgate Police Chief told KTEN there was an explosion and fire around 1:30 a.m. Friday at an oil rig near Coalgate. According to Juan Rodriguez with the U.S. Department of Labor, initial reports indicate that during drilling, a fire occurred. Two employees were killed and three others were injured.     OKLAHOMA CITY – A 20-year-old man was arrested after being accused of abusing a child. Officers were called to S.W. Grand Blvd. after receiving a call about an abused child. When police arrived, they saw the little girl. According to the arrest affidavit, the victim “had a hand print on her right cheek with bruising around her eyes.     OKLAHOMA CITY – The family of Luis Rodriguez held a press conference Tuesday regarding new evidence discovered in the case. The Rodriguez family announced they had a private autopsy conducted for Luis. According to the report from the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office, Luis Rodriguez died from “cardiac arrhythmia due to physical restraint.” The Rodriguez family says the private autopsy contradicts the state’s results.
