Matt Posgai graduated from Florida State University and made his way over to KAUZ in Wichita Falls, TX in 2008. After four years, he decided to head west again to Lubbock and pursue his AMS seal which he received in January 2014.

Matt joined the 4 Warn Storm Team in June of 2014 after two years in Lubbock at both Nexstar stations, KAMC and KLBK. He’s seen just about everything nature has to throw at us… blizzards, dust storms, tornadoes, hail, etc. He’s excited to bring his experience and passion for weather to Oklahoma City!

    We’re looking at two storms impacting Oklahoma in the next week. Tonight, mostly clear skies will allow temperatures to fall to the 20s. Later tonight, more patchy dense fog will be possible after midnight, but it won’t be nearly as thick as it was this morning.     Few showers are expected overnight for parts of Oklahoma

    Tonight, a few showers are possible across far eastern Oklahoma. Otherwise, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies and lows in the 50s with a steady south breeze at 10-20mph. A cold front will move across the Oklahoma panhandle overnight and drop temperatures into the 30s and 40s behind it for Guymon east to Woodward.         The temperatures will climb through the weekend and so will the winds. A few thunderstorms are possible Sunday. The better chance of storms will move in Wednesday with a front. Temperatures will climb to near 100 degrees before the front moves through.
