    NORCE to Begin Staff Cuts

    Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) has met with employees of the Northern Oklahoma Resource Center (NORCE) to begin the process of staff cuts. OKDHS plans to cut the direct care staff by 30 before years end.  They met staff members today to offer a buyout. This offer to employees is on a first come first serve basis.     OKLAHOMA CITY  – Oklahoma City Police say they have arrested the third suspect who was involved in a chase with Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper late last week. The 30-year-old man was arrested just after 10 p.m. Sunday night. This incident began last Thursday evening when an OHP Trooper pursued a car in a traffic stop.     An Oklahoma County Sheriff’s deputy was involved in a crash just before 8:30 p.m. on Monday evening. The Deputy was trying to stop a reckless driver traveling southbound at a high rate of speed on I-35 near Covell. The suspect had pulled into the right lane and the deputy followed.     Crews Respond to Fire in South Oklahoma City

    Fire Crews are on the scene of a house fire in the 300 block of southeast 47th street in Oklahoma City. A woman called 9-1-1 just after 8pm Thursday evening and reported her home was on fire. She made it out of the house but E.M.S.A. was called to the scene as a precaution to check her for smoke inhalation. There are no other injuries reported at this time.

    Plane Headed to Kansas City Lands in Oklahoma City

    A Southwest Airlines flight headed to Kansas City from Houston made an unscheduled landing in Oklahoma City on Thursday. The pilot of the aircraft thought something on the aircraft needed to be checked and was diverted to Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City just after 6pm. Passengers were moved to another plane and continued to Kansas City just after 7:30pm Thursday evening.     Shawnee Police Investigate Shooting

    Shawnee police were called to a shooting in the 1200 block of Draper street around 9pm Monday evening. Police are on the scene gathering evidence. No other information will be released until Tuesday morning after 8am according to dispatchers at the Shawnee Police Department. Neighbors tell us the victim is in his mid 20’s and was transported to the hospital. There is no word on the severity of the victims injuries or any suspect information at this time.

    Domestic Stabbing Investigated

    A domestic stabbing has left the victim hospitalized and the suspect in the Oklahoma County Jail. Oklahoma City Police were called to the 5200 block of Washington just after 9:00 pm Wednesday evening to investigate a stabbing. The victim was able to drive their self to the hospital where they sought treatment. Police are not releasing any information on the suspect or the victim as the investigation is ongoing. We will update you as we get more information.

    ROGERS COUNTY — A 13-year-old year old Inola boy was critically injured after he crashed his ATV Thursday just after noon. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol report says Dalton McGarrah was traveling at a high rate of speed on a Rogers County road. He ran off the right side of the roadway traveled up an embankment and back onto the road lost control and rolled the all-terrain vehicle.
