  • Man rushed to hospital after stabbing at Langston University

    LANGSTON, Okla. – Authorities are investigating a stabbing at Langston University. Monday night, a man was stabbed several times in the chest by a female after an altercation at the apartments on campus. The man was transported by a medical helicopter to a metro hospital. His condition is unclear at this time. The woman was arrested and taken to jail. The victim and suspect have not been identified at this time.   • Child Struck by Car

    Oklahoma City Police are investigating after a child was struck by a car Monday evening. The accident happened just before 8pm on northwest 30th & May Avenue. The parents took the child to the hospital before emergency crews arrived on scene. Police are having a hard time interviewing witnesses because of a language barrier. We will have more information as it becomes available.

  • 3.0 earthquake strikes near Medford

    Medford, Okla. –  An earthquake shook residents near Medford on Monday evening in northwest Oklahoma. Around 7:39 p.m., the U.S. Geological Survey recorded a 3.0 magnitude earthquake 5 miles east of Medford.     Blanchard, OK — A 3.1 earthquake struck near Blanchard at 9:08pm Monday evening. There have been no reports of damage at this time.   • Man Injured at Edmond Liberty Fest

    One man was injured Monday evening at the fireworks display in Edmond. The accident occurred at the Liberty Fest display at the University of Central Oklahoma. A witness told KFOR.com the victim was injured when his leg was struck by a two by four. The victim has refused to be transported to the hospital. We have crews on the scene gathering information.   • Logan County Deputies Investigate Fatal Shooting

    Logan County Sheriff deputies are investigating a fatal shooting on Highway 33 just east of Post Road. Deputies were called to a fight but found a man fatally shot when they arrived on scene. They are trying to locate a man and woman who fled the scene in an older red Chevrolet step side pickup. The pickup has a partial Oklahoma license plate of 870.   • Woman killed after being struck by car

    OKLAHOMA CITY — Police are on the scene of a fatal auto-pedestrian accident at NW 25th and Pennsylvania Avenue. The accident happened just after 7pm Friday evening. She was trying to cross Pennsylvania when she was struck by a motorist near NW 25th street. Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed while officers investigate the accident.   • Integris notifies employees of layoffs

    Integris Health sent a letter to all employees Thursday notifying them of upcoming layoffs. The letter states the layoffs are a direct result of a 25% cut to Medicaid fees by the state due to the current $1.3 billion state budget shortfall. The state announced a reduction of provider fees paid through Medicaid beginning in June.   • Daycare Van Rollover Closes Hefner Road Near

    A daycare van rollover has closed Hefner Road near Mustang Road. The accident happened just after 3pm Thursday afternoon.  There were only two people on board at the time of the rollover. The driver received cuts to her arm. The child on the bus had non-life threatening injuries. The driver and passenger were both able to walk to the ambulance.   • Seven earthquakes jolt central Oklahoma

    EDMOND, Okla. – Seven earthquakes have rattled central Oklahoma within the past 24 hours. The first of the earthquakes, a 2.9, struck near Edmond around 6:48 p.m. Monday. A 2.6 quake followed about an hour and a half later. Then, a 3.5 earthquake rattled Edmond around 8:35 p.m.  The epicenter was near Sooner Road and Coffee Creek.
