    Logan County Sheriff deputies are investigating a fatal shooting on Highway 33 just east of Post Road. Deputies were called to a fight but found a man fatally shot when they arrived on scene. They are trying to locate a man and woman who fled the scene in an older red Chevrolet step side pickup. The pickup has a partial Oklahoma license plate of 870.     Woman killed after being struck by car

    OKLAHOMA CITY — Police are on the scene of a fatal auto-pedestrian accident at NW 25th and Pennsylvania Avenue. The accident happened just after 7pm Friday evening. She was trying to cross Pennsylvania when she was struck by a motorist near NW 25th street. Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed while officers investigate the accident. We have a crew on the scene and will have more information as it becomes available.

    Integris notifies employees of layoffs

    Integris Health sent a letter to all employees Thursday notifying them of upcoming layoffs. The letter states the layoffs are a direct result of a 25% cut to Medicaid fees by the state due to the current $1.3 billion state budget shortfall. The state announced a reduction of provider fees paid through Medicaid beginning in June.     Daycare Van Rollover Closes Hefner Road Near

    A daycare van rollover has closed Hefner Road near Mustang Road. The accident happened just after 3pm Thursday afternoon.  There were only two people on board at the time of the rollover. The driver received cuts to her arm. The child on the bus had non-life threatening injuries. The driver and passenger were both able to walk to the ambulance.     Seven earthquakes jolt central Oklahoma

    EDMOND, Okla. – Seven earthquakes have rattled central Oklahoma within the past 24 hours. The first of the earthquakes, a 2.9, struck near Edmond around 6:48 p.m. Monday. A 2.6 quake followed about an hour and a half later. Then, a 3.5 earthquake rattled Edmond around 8:35 p.m.  The epicenter was near Sooner Road and Coffee Creek.     Oklahoma City Police are on the scene of a deadly domestic shooting at 6100 Lillian Lane. Police tell us they received a call just before 6pm Sunday evening from a man stating he had just shot and killed his wife.     Four Oklahoma prisoners dead after prison brawl

    CUSHING, Okla. — Four inmates were killed and four others injured after a fight at the Cimarron Correctional Facility in Cushing, Oklahoma. The fight broke out in a housing pod just after 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The brawl lasted two minutes, but it took prison staff members about 40 minutes to secure the housing area.     Authorities investigating fatal officer involved shooting

    Oklahoma City Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal officer involved shooting. The shooting occurred near SE 89th & Dobbs Road around 7:20pm in Southeast Oklahoma City . Authorities were investigating a disturbance called in by neighbors when the shooting occurred. The suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene.     NORCE to Begin Staff Cuts

    Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) has met with employees of the Northern Oklahoma Resource Center (NORCE) to begin the process of staff cuts. OKDHS plans to cut the direct care staff by 30 before years end.  They met staff members today to offer a buyout. This offer to employees is on a first come first serve basis.     OKLAHOMA CITY  – Oklahoma City Police say they have arrested the third suspect who was involved in a chase with Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper late last week.
