EDMOND, Okla.—A military court of appeals has agreed to hear a case for an Edmond soldier who was convicted of murder.
1st Lieutenant Michael Behenna was convicted of murdering a known Al Qaeda operative.
The military’s top appellate court said it would consider whether prosecutors withheld evidence that may have helped Behenna’s case.
Behenna is serving a 15 year sentence at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas for killing the man.
