MOORE, Okla.-Detectives are investigating a bazaar case at a motel that may involve a robbery and even kidnapping.

Sgt. Jeremy Lewis, with the Moore Police Department, said, “The owners of the motel, who also live there, said they came home around 3:30 a.m. and didn’t see 30-year-old Anthony Lennon working and what looked like the scene of a robbery.”

Moore police say the work area was disheveled, the cash register empty and Lennon was nowhere to be found.

The owners say Lennon had worked at the motel for almost a year and they have never had any problems with him.

Sgt. Lewis said, “We are treating this as a robbery and kidnapping until we know otherwise.”

The owner says investigators also found blood splatter near rooms 108 and 109.

Police say that while the owners never had any problems with Lennon, there is a warrant out for his arrest for previous offenses.

A closer look at Lennon’s background reveals a long list of child pornography charges dating back to 2008.

Regarding the current situation, investigators just want to know what happened and if Lennon is in any danger.

Sgt. Lewis said, “There is no surveillance video and no witnesses so this is making it difficult to find out what happened.”
