OKLAHOMA CITY-Dozens of Oklahomans lined up to become a part of movie magic on Saturday.

An independent film being shot in Oklahoma held open auditions at “Sauced” in the Paseo.

“Rise Up Black Man” is the story of two best friends who just graduated from college and are searching for a purpose in life.

Organizers say it’s an inspirational film about friendship, what really matters in life and the absurdity of racism.

Some of the locals being used in the film include Heather Harris, who competed for Miss Oklahoma 2011 and has sung opera at OCU.
