MOORE, Okla. -- According to police, a Southmoore High School teacher's assistant admitted to sending three students nude pictures.

Police questioned the woman after they were tipped off by a concerned parent.

Investigators said the pictures were sent to at least three male students.

"Once someone goes to the extent of sending a nude photo to a child, we need to look at all possibilities. Was there any contact with the child, things like that," Moore Police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis.

Police have not identified the woman because she has not been arrested.

Investigators plan on handing the case over to the district attorney's office so charges can be filed.

She could face multiple charges including lewd acts with a minor.

Moore Public Schools released this statement:

"The Moore Police advised our school district this morning of allegations concerning a teacher's assistant employed by Moore Public Schools. The employee is not currently at work and will be suspended pending the outcome of a criminal investigation. We will continue to work cooperatively with the police during the course of this investigation. As always, the safety and security of our students is our main concern."
