OKLAHOMA CITY — The Skydance Bridge is officially open for business. City leaders opened the 380-foot long pedestrian bridge across I-40 Monday afternoon.

The bridge’s architecture was inspired by Oklahoma’s state bird, the scissor-tailed fly-catcher.

It is located near the future MAPS 3 downtown park which should begin construction in 2013.
