MIDWEST CITY, Okla.—Family and friends gathered together to remember a Midwest City mother and her two sons, who were killed when their apartment caught fire.

Last Sunday, Lindsey Terry and her two young boys, Dylan and John, passed away when their apartment went up in flames.

Nikki Jones says her niece lost her life fighting for her boys.

Jones said, “Anybody who knew Lindsey, she wouldn’t have gone out without a fight.”

Saturday afternoon, Lindsey and the boys were laid to rest.

Jones said, “Dylan, for one, was a little stink. He was constantly doing something, climbing.  John, he ate everything. He was a chunky little thing.”

The boys also have an older sister who wasn’t home at the time of the fire.

A fund has been set up to help the family with expenses.
