OKLAHOMA CITY -- Thunder fans are still re-living the team's victory over the L.A. Lakers Monday night in Game 1 of the second round of NBA playoffs.

During the post-game press conference, Russell Westbrook was turning heads with his fashion choice: a fitted polo emblazoned with fishing hooks.

It was an interesting choice for the usually fashionable NBA star.

Shaquille O'Neal told his TNT sports audience, "I've got one word for you: Garanimals."

Charles Barkley said, "Well, at least we know they got a TJ Maxx in Oklahoma City."

Oklahoma City men's fashion boutique owner, Spencer Stone, was puzzled by the choice, at first.

Then, he thought maybe Westbrook was going for a more "cerebral" approach.

"I think it looks like Westbrook thinks he's going to get some more vacation time, time to fish," Stone said.

Former Thunder player, Desmond Mason, generally likes Westbrook's trendy style.

He is a fan of the red hipster frames Westbrook was sporting during the press conference but admits he's not rushing out to buy the fish hooks polo.

Mason said, "We texted this morning. I joked with him about it a little bit. It was definitely edgy. I think he knows I'm not buying the shirt."

For the record, in case Charles Barkley was wondering, there are three TJ Maxx stores in the Oklahoma City metro area; none of them carry the shirt.
