OKLAHOMA CITY -- From cakes, to local businesses and T-shirts, James Harden has had his share of popularity.

Now a local business is adding another player to their over-sized Thunder display.

A beard outside Ketch Design Center at N.W. 44th St. and Western Ave. has been getting a lot of attention.

Monday crews worked to add a "Durantula" to the business display.

It took a bit of planning and a little tweaking but as the morning progressed the pile of parts slowly transformed into a new spectacle along Western.

It took a lot of drilling to get the bug-like body attached onto the side of the building.

At the top, a 7-foot tall Kevin Durant head, looking toward downtown.

Ronnie Ketch with Ketch Design Center said, "You start it, you gotta keep going. We're excited. We're excited for the finals. We're excited for the team."

While some fans stopped to take pictures, others just paused to take it all in.

Ketch said the beard has drawn quite a crowd.

He said, "An amazing amount of traffic next door taking pictures across the street, it's been pretty strange."

He expects this new display to do the same.

But it won't stop here.

Along with the spider, a banner honoring the team and a pair of red-rimmed glasses, in honor of Russell Westbrook.

It's all in good fun as this city joins together to cheer on this team.

Ketch said he didn't initially put the beard up to draw in business, just to show his team spirit.

However, he has seen a few new customers thanks to the displays.
