OKLAHOMA CITY --Fans across the metro are gearing up for what may be the last Thunder basketball game of the season, Game 5 of the NBA Finals in Miami, FL.

Some of them are getting creative, like  a grassroots group online pressing for a Thunder watch party inside their home court, Chesapeake Arena. Several of them have advocated such a party on Twitter.

"I think it sounds like a fun idea! It's always more fun to watch it with people," said Audrey Helmerich, a Thunder fan.

We found a number of people around the metro who agree with her.

"I would pay tickets to watch the game, even from outside the arena," said Thunder fan Mike Sutherland.

But even with groundswell support, Thunder spokesman Dan Mahoney says it's not likely that there will be a Game 5 watch party inside or outside the arena. He spoke to KFOR via phone from Miami.

"This idea of having a watch party at the arena just isn't feasible.

There are a lot of logistical issues that have to be overcome and really it's juts not anything that we are able to do working with the city," said Mahoney.
