OKLAHOMA CITY—An Oklahoma City man is recovering after he was hit by gunfire at the Madison Village Apartments Saturday afternoon.

Investigators say the 22-year-old victim was hit in the neck and back.

He was transported to an area hospital but officials say he is not cooperating with the investigation.

Few details are available on who may have shot the man but neighbors say this kind of violence is common in the area.

Mike Toso said, “ We’d have people outside shouting, even had some occurrences where we’ve seen people being beat up in visual contact with the school.”

At last check, the victim was in critical condition.
