OKLAHOMA CITY -- Controversy over a naked mannequin has ignited flames in an old neighborhood firestorm.

We first brought you a glimpse of the fight between Bruce Knutson, his neighbors and city council two years ago.

After he was not granted a zoning change for his land, he posted signs many said were vulgar.

Not long after, he positioned a blow-up doll for all to see as well as a naked mannequin sitting on a trailer.

Someone eventually stole it so he recently put up a new one.

This one is naked too with the private parts embellished to make them look even more graphic.

It sits on the corner of S.W. 89th St. and Council Rd.

Neighbors said the yard is more than an eyesore but also highly offensive and has forced untimely conversations with children in the area.

According to the city code, residents can have two signs at a maximum of eight feet but the officials can't regulate the verbiage on the sign.

Knutson was issued a citation for having too many over-sized signs.

After a formal request, he was granted a hearing with city leaders.

That will take place next Monday.
