CADDO COUNTY, Okla.– Caddo County is now the 31st county to place bans on fires. The ban was set in place on Friday.

Now, almost half the state of Oklahoma has issued burn bands.

State Forester George Geissler said the weather conditions have created a concern for potential wildfires.

Contributing to the burn bans are the lack of rain fall and 100 degree temperatures and a massive 140 acre fire caused by lightning.
