Couple’s argument ends in overnight stabbing

OKLAHOMA CITY-- Police are still looking into a stabbing that occurred early Tuesday morning involving a man and his girlfriend.

Officers were called to the Aspen Way Apartments, located in the 1000 block of N.W. 88th St., regarding a stabbing just after 2 a.m.

When they arrived on scene, they discovered a man talking to security who was suffering  with a stab wound to his back.

Authorities say the man had been involved in a heated argument with his girlfriend earlier in the night.

When he tried to leave, she allegedly stabbed him one time in the back.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

His girlfriend was taken into custody and could face charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
