Just when you think you'll never need power from outside the electric utility you use daily, a natural disaster happens or a storm blows through - knocking out electricity at your home or perhaps even a neighborhood or even a small section of a city.

What do you do? Have a backup electric generator handy so you can power essential equipment in a pinch. Things like necessary medical equipment, refridgerators, freezers, air conditioners all come to mind.

They may seem pricey at first, but like insurance, an generator may come in super handy in the hopefully-infrequent time you need it.
