OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma City police officers will be on patrol with some new wheels soon.

Take a look at these newly redesigned patrol cars for the department.

Unlike the traditional white with black vehicles, these are solid black with the word “Police” in large, white letters.

Ford Motor Company designed this Taurus specifically for law enforcement.

In addition, a handful of new Ford Expeditions will also be hitting the streets for the department’s K9 units.

The new police cars should be on patrol in about two weeks.
