CHICKASHA, Okla.—A man who was convicted of murder more than 10 years ago was recently denied parole.

The parole board recommended the release of Quincy Foster, who was convicted of murdering Debra Dennis.

The Chickasha mother was killed in 1993 after Foster demanded money from her and her mother outside their home.

When Dennis could only off Foster 24 cents, he shot and killed her.

Foster was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.

This past July, a parole board recommended Foster’s release after he served more than 16 years in prison.

Governor Fallin denied his release.
