EDMOND, Okla.—Authorities on the University of Central Oklahoma campus are currently investigating an assault that took place last week.

Campus police are investigating reports that someone was assaulted at the Central Plaza Residence Hall early Friday morning.

While no arrests have been made, officers say they have identified a person of interest.

Just last month, an 18-year-old man told police he was sexually assaulted on campus.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Warrant Team arrested 34-year-old Elvis Perkins for the crime.

He is being charged with sexual battery in that case.
