OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Police are investigating the case of a very persistent burglar who tried with nearly all his might to break into a local business.

The Classen Tire Shop isn't exactly a likely target; burglar bars are on every window and several cameras watch on the premises.

About 4 a.m. Nov. 28, police were called to the Classen Tire Shop to investigate a burglary.

The business caught the incident on surveillance tape.

The suspect can be seen on the video getting access to the tire storage area.

"It appears he was trying to break into the office and he was unsuccessful and you can see him leave," OKC Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

The suspect broke through two sets of burglar bars but may have given up after discovering a third set of metal bars on the office door.

The suspect took nothing.

Police are asking for public help identifying the suspect.

"Although he didn't get anything in this incident, obviously he's capable of doing this again so we want to get him identified," Sgt. Wardlow said.

If caught, the suspect faces a criminal charge for burglary.

If you have any information about the crime, call the Oklahoma City Police Crimestoppers Hotline (405) 235-7300 where you can remain anonymous and there is a reward.
