MUSTANG, Okla.-- An Oklahoma pastor and his congregation were shocked by what they found just days before Christmas after a thief pulled off a smash and grab.

The crook took fundraising money and electronic equipment from the Lighthouse Baptist Church of Mustang.

Pastor Rick Carter Sr. said, "They came in, best way we could tell, and ran into the front doors. Looks like they probably backed in, maybe a trailer hitch or something the way it hit."

Once inside, the thieves grabbed the church's financial records, a fax machine and a bit of cash from a drawer.

Despite the crime, church members are standing firmly in their faith.

Carter said, "A lot of our folks have indicated they're praying. The Bible says pray for those who have harmed you so we're trying to do that."
