Police warn residents of suspicious person seeking money

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are warning southwest Oklahoma City residents about a suspicious person reported in the area. 

They said he has been seen visiting homes in the Lakeridge addition and has given numerous reasons for being in the neighborhood. 

Neighbors said the man said he is “seeking donations to go to college and not selling anything.”

He has also said he is selling magazines. 

He is described as an African-American man wearing a blue and gray striped sweater, dark gray jacket and blue baseball cap.

Anyone who sees this man should call the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office at (405) 701-8888 and immediately report it.
