OKLAHOMA CITY - An Oklahoma City man is found dead inside his home.

The shooting has left the 42-year-old victim's family wondering what happened.

The incident happened along N.E. 59th St. near Post Rd.

"I'm angry, trying to figure out who did this to him," McShunda Wright said.

Wright confirms the murdered victim is her oldest brother, McQuallias.

The family said they are not sure why he died.

"I don't know. I have no idea. I got a call and came out to make sure for myself," McShunda said.

"He got shot in the back. He was laying on the couch and he wasn't responding at the time," family member Chris Ramirez said.

After discovering McQuallias' body, relatives called police to the scene.

Two family members were taken into police custody for questioning.

They have not been named as suspects.

A search of DOC records shows the victim did have a criminal history, including several convictions for drug possession.

His sister said he'd been trying to turn his life around.

Right now, the motive for the death remains a mystery.

"He'd been arrested in the past but he got out and found work and was trying to find the right step," Wright said. "We need some answers. If anyone knows who did it, they need to come forward or something."

So far police have not named any suspects and no arrests have been made in the case.
