(CNN) – A popular online company was forced to alert millions of its users that their information may have been accessed by thieves over the weekend.

Evernote alerted its 50 million users to reset their passwords Saturday after a massive security breach.

The company said no user content or financial information was accessed.

However, the hackers were able to access user names, e-mail addresses and encrypted passwords.

Customers were warned by officials to not click on any security e-mails that may come out from the company.
