School bus wrecks, no kids on board

OKLAHOMA CITY — A Mid-Del School District bus crashed with another driver during the morning route Thursday morning.

It happened about 8 a.m. near NE 23rd and Coltrane in Oklahoma City.

According to police, the driver was slowing down to pick up the first student when another vehicle, a red car, crashed into the bus.

The crash was so intense it ripped the top right off of the vehicle.

There were no injuries reported.

No students were on the bus at the time of the crash.

The wreck tied up traffic in the area for about 90 minutes.
